Rails 3.2.0 was released last Friday. I thought I would try it out so, as a small weekend project, I upgraded one of my applications from Rails 3.1 and Rails 3.2. The process went very smoothly – including deployment on Heroku.

The release includes primarily a set of smaller enhancements and fixes. Major new features – faster development mode & routing, explain queries and tagged logger – will benefit in particular larger applications.
